KCACTF 2018

I began my birthday by turning 22 at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (Region 5) in Iowa. I was lucky enough to be to be apart of the Musical Theatre Intensive Showcase, workshopping with artists from the Open Jar Institute! I met some of the most incredible future artists in the midwest.

At the end of the week, I was honored to be recognized as the Region 5 Open Jar institute National Musical Theatre Intensive Scholarship- Runner-Up based on my performance of The Flame from Flora The Red Menace!

I received the news this morning that I will be taking an all expenses paid trip to the Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.) in April for the National Festival to represent Region 5 in the National MTI Fellowship and to audition for the full scholarship to the Open Jar Institute! This is a great surprise and honor.

This would not be possible without the love and support of my friends, family, and incredible professors! I cannot wait to show nationals what wildcats can do!
